The Bath Life Spring Party
Now, far be it from us to do anything so overt as to blow our own trumpet, but… the Bath Life Spring Party on 25 March was really quite good. Expecting maybe 150 people, we were delighted to see nearly 300; the Royal Crescent Hotel was absolutely rammed. Amid the national gloom, Bath shines as a beacon of entrepreneurial, clever, determined success. Companies here remain positive – surprisingly buoyant, even – confident that the economy of Bath remains relatively robust. Amid the clinking glasses and noisy hubbub, there were gratifyingly few intrusive mentions of the crxxxt crxxxh. Yes it’s tough – but we all know we have to get on with it, and we might as well enjoy ourselves…
