MediaClash produces new resident magazine for BANES
UK’s fastest growing customer publishing agency* continues to expand with new 3-year contract
22/05/09 — MediaClash has been appointed to launch a new residents’ magazine on behalf of Bath & North East Somerset Council, following a competitive tender process.
‘Connect’ is a quarterly magazine and replaces the previous Council newspaper ‘Council News’. The 32 page publication will be distributed via Royal Mail to all 76,000 residential addresses in the Bath and North East Somerset area. An online edition will also be published on the Council’s website at www.bathnes.com
The new-look magazine will inform residents about important and relevant local issues, and how the Council is meeting its priorities. It will also demonstrate how the Council works alongside other members of the Local Strategic Partnership for the benefit of the Bath and North East Somerset area.
Issue one of the magazine includes a feature on cycling and its benefits to health and traffic congestion, an article on a new top class facility for disabled children, and a round-up of some of the attractions available through the Council’s Discovery Card. Each issue of the magazine also contains news, an events diary and service directory.

Issue 1 of the magazine goes into distribution from June 8th. The next issue is due out in September 2009.
