Who we are

Simon Tapscott, Head of Customer Publishing

Simon has worked in magazine publishing for 10 years. He joined Future Publishing as an adsales executive and worked across its portfolio of games, entertainment and technology titles, managing accounts for clients including Microsoft and Electronic Arts. In 2003 he launched Future's customer publishing agency, Future Plus. Before leaving Future in April 2007, he was part of the team that secured pitch wins for Sky, HMV, Game Stores Group, Vodafone, Musicians' Union, Design Objectives and Play.com.

Nick Fell, Business Development Manager

Nick has a marketing agency and sales background. After graduating from university he joined Future Publishing in 2001 as an adsales executive before taking a year out to travel. After a brief stint as a recruitment consultant Nick joined IMG, the world’s leading sports marketing company, where he went on to account manage O2’s sports sponsorships. Nick has also worked with a number of international clients including American Express, MasterCard, InBev and RBS.

Gary Tipp, Editorial Director

Gary has over 12 years experience in magazine publishing, and in that time has edited, sub-edited and written for a large portfolio of titles over a diverse number of market sectors - including technology, genealogy, videogames, movies and the internet. He edited Total Football magazine for a number of years, before joining Future's customer publishing agency - Future Plus - in 2004 as Editorial Director. His spell at Future Plus saw him involved in all of the agency's major successes and worked closely with key clients such as Sky, HMV, BT Vision, PC World, Vodafone and the Musicians' Union.

Nick Moyle, Creative Director

Nick started out at Future in 1994 as designer of Classic CD and was soon launching and redesigning newsstand sport and videogames magazines in both the UK and Germany. In 2000 he began a three-year spell art directing Sony's PlayStation portfolio before joining the launch team for Future's customer publishing agency. As creative director he had a key role in establishing relationships with clients such as Game, Vodafone, PC World, Dixons, Design Objectives and HMV. He left Future in 2005 to set up a successful editorial design and consultancy business.
