Eurogamer
Eurogamer is the publisher of the UK’s most visited independent computer games consumer website, with a verified audience of 1.3m. It also publishes the world’s leading trade website for the games industry. It operates in a highly dynamic, international market and is experiencing rapid growth.
MediaClash has acted as Strategic Advisor since December 2006, helping the company prioritise its many growth options and to develop further commercially. Particular focus as been on its B2B activities and raising its profile in the industry. In May 2007, Greg Ingham was made Chairman of Eurogamer, and works closely with the Eurogamer team.
Also in May 2007, Eurogamer and MediaClash established a joint venture called EuroClash. This vehicle was established to create bespoke content for games companies, using the content and publishing expertise of both parties.
ESC
The Entertainment Software Charity (ESC) is the long-standing charity for the computer games industry. In recent times, it has required a radical overhaul of its structure and offering, so that it better engages and represents the industry and more effectively raises and disburses funds.
As a Trustee of the charity, Greg Ingham provide MediaClash’s services to create a new strategic plan for the ESC. This involves new rationale, a new Trustee structure, a new business/operational structure, and a new name and logo.
Carsonified
Carsonified is a highly successful organiser of tech conferences and developer of web apps. Its conferences run in London and New York.
MediaClash has provided strategic advice since early 2007, helping the company quantify its levels of ambition, build a management structure and set the course of its mid-term strategic development. In June 2007, Greg Ingham was made Chairman of Carsonified.
Theatre Royal Bath
The Theatre Royal Bath is one of the UK’s most successful theatres, both creatively and commercially. It now operates through three Theatres: the Main House (mainstream productions, Peter Hall Season), the egg (children and young people’s theatre) and the Ustinov Studio (more alternative productions). It also successfully produces plays which tour the UK provinces and London – and has also had productions in the US.
MediaClash has played an active role in the development of the Theatre – in its management, strategic focus, key commercial decisions and launch of a new Trust Fund. Greg Ingham is Chairman of the Theatre Royal Bath.
UK Games Industry Forum
The Forum creates a unique link across the value chain between the games industry’s trade bodies, its leading players and the DBERR (Department of Business, Enterprise and Regulatory Reform – formerly the DTI) and other governmental departments.
In addition to Greg chairing the Forum, MediaClash has also now taken on its organisation on behalf of the DBERR and the trade bodies.
