ADC Krone
ADC KRONE re-brand & rebuild
ADCKRONE is one of the most aggressive and fastest growing companies in the network infrastructure sector, supplying network equipment, software solutions, and integration services for broadband around the world.
We started working with KRONE Technique (UK) in 2000, designing, building and hosting a new corporate website; driving traffic to it through a range of HTML and Flash e-mails.
After the company’s acquisition by ADC, the company undertook a global rebranding. They gave us the task of re-designing and building 10 EMEA websites – in 3 months.
What did we do?
- Multi-lingual project management with the EMEA offices
- Developed new information architecture & navigation
- Introduced global standards for online branding & content
- Adopted a single technology platform
- Delivered all 10 sites on time, on budget
- Built an 11th website for the new French office…because we had the time
Krone Technique (UK) E-mail campaigns
The new brand and websites were ready for unveiling at the flagship CeBIT show (only the biggest trade show for the ICT sector worldwide, with some 6,153 exhibitors from 77 countries and 488,000 visitors from all over the world).
Business moves on as we all know and when Krone decided that they should be talking to Senior IT Managers (with major purchasing power!) as well as their traditional target audience of infrastructure engineers, we knew e-mail was the answer. We created two styles to get the maximum response from the different audiences:
- Flash e-mail: scripted, designed, built and deployed by us to highlight the commercial benefits and peace of mind achieved through using Krone products
- HTML newsletters: Designed by us, with the content supplied by Krone, highlighted the technical benefits enjoyed by engineers
Over the course of two years we achieved average campaign responses of:
- Flash e-mail: 55.8% Read rate and 20.7% Click-through rates
- HTML: 38.7% Read rate and 29.28% Click-through rates
