MediaClash wins Design Objectives’ magazine
Market leading craft title is first major deal for new publisher
02/05/07 — Bath–based MediaClash today announces its first major customer publishing win – the Design Objectives’ title do crafts Creativity!. With a print run of 125,000 copies the magazine is the UK’s largest–selling crafts title.
The magazine is published bi–monthly and is sold through craft shops. The win, which follows a four way pitch, includes the opportunity for other multi–channel media work with Design Objectives.
Commenting on the appointment of MediaClash, Design Objectives’ Managing Director Andrew Knowles said:
“This magazine is an extremely important and valuable business communication tool for us. So we had to be very careful in our decision. We chose MediaClash over their competitors because we were excited by the ideas that they put to us, and saw a number of opportunities to work with them in other areas.”
“The craft market is worth upwards of £250m and we are determined to remain as clear market leaders. We look forward to building a long and close relationship with MediaClash.”
MediaClash’s Chief Executive, Greg Ingham, added:
“Design Objectives are a smart, impressive company. They’re ambitious for their market and are innovative operators. They make a great company for us to partner with – and a great first win for MediaClash.”
The first issue of do crafts Creativity! produced by MediaClash will be on sale from Saturday 1st September.
